Sinopsis

The Rule of Osha came to Germany in secret by the Cubans(Black Cubans basically)  during the period of the '70s and in East Germany and stayed until now. The film shows the practice of Santeria (Cuban popular religion) and Candomble (Brazilian popular religion) in Berlin, with Babá Murah Soares of the only Candomble House in Germany and Joaquin Lahabana, a Cuban priest of Santeria.

Led by Julio Valdez, Artist & Founder JVS Project Space (Harlem)

In this workshop, Julio Valdez will guide participants through the monotype printmaking process, using Akua Kolor and Akua Intaglio water-based inks. The installation of the current Warburton Galerie exhibition of prints by artists from Latin America will be the setting for the workshop, highlighting the role that printmaking plays in his artistic process.
