US+U is a member supported gallery, with a structure similar to that of a co-op. Members will pay a monthly fee that allows us to cover marketing and promotion, printing of exhibition programs, a web-designer to create artist profiles on our website, refreshments and catering for receptions and other basic operating expenses.
Artists can choose to be members show by show or commit to anywhere between a 2-12 month contract. This membership approach gives artists the flexibility to participate when it’s best for them and take time off when needed. Whats the break down? $25 per week divided by 4 days a week is $6.25 a day. - As one of our artists said to us- they spend more per day on coffee! It's an invest in yourself and in a community of like minded individuals .
Membership Fee: $100 per month (Particpation in one Exhibition is $100 x2 months= $200)
Graduate Student Rate: $50 per month with a valid student ID

Artists are invited to submit artwork for consideration, Deadline is Sunday July 7th 2019 at noon. Drop off will be Thurs July 11th,
530-730pm. Show will be installed on Sat July 13th and open Sat July 27th 6-9pm. On view thru Sunday Aug 25th, 2019.
REQUIRED SUBMISSION FORMAT
1.) 5-10 jpgs ATTACHED to email. (pls do not zip or drop box) titled w your last name and a number
2.) A image list in the BODY of your email (not a separate doc) this list should correspond w your image titles. for example- smith1= "slant" mixed media 18"x24" $600 *Please do not add extra words such as Price= , Title= (when you send the 4 pieces of image info shown on the example it will be obvious or we'll reach out if there is any question!
3.) A one-two paragraph Bio (e.g. Education, Place of Birth, etc.) and Artist Statement ( A general paragraph about your artwork (e.g. Approach/Concept, Medium/Use of Materials/Inspiration)in the BODY of email , not as separate attachment iif this is your first time exhibiting with us. * We use this info along w your images to create an artist profile page for you on our website! )
4.) All materials should be sent to our curator: *There is no charge to submit to an exhibition. Once accepted, artists will be notified and asked to pay the membership fee at drop off.
