Jennifer Persad
Statement
With every inch of my process I find something new in each painting I work on. Each palette is inspired by places I have seen or want to see. I try to mimic the vibrant colors of landscapes and natural elements creating new colors in the process. I can move and manipulate the paint how I want, trying to control the whole layout of the piece however with every new pour or splash something is always changed or distorted. My viewer unfortunately doesn't get to see every stage of the painting, which makes the work even more special to me. I see the journey and they see the destination.
