Statement

My Current work  is an exploration of the different personas we all put forth into the world and combat with inside. It's a narrative about the connections we all share. Breaking through the concrete yet fragile representations of the human form, living matter grows, creating a new wholeness.

Bio

​

Lauren Goldstein is a sculptor who primarily works with plaster, resin, and plants. Her work is strong based off of the human figure, combining still captured life, with living growing life.

 

She received her BFA from the Fashion Institute of Technology in 2015. Lauren is living and working in Brooklyn.
